System Engineer - Active Directory (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. System Engineer - Active Directory (m/w/d) from now on and in full time preferred in Munich or Rheinbach, alternatively nationwide at one of our BWI locations. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) department is responsible for the administration and operation of Active Directory environments, BWI internally, as well as in our customer environments (federal and federal authorities). These include the operation of DNS, Federation Services, Distributed Filesystem and Lightweight Directory Services infrastructure services. The interfaces to other services are diverse and ensure continuous change in the field of activity.

Completed vocational training in computer science (e.g. specialist informatics for system integration) or higher degree 3 - 5 years of professional experience in this field Experience in the field of large IT environments and solution competence for complex tasks Good knowledge of Active Directory and Domain Name System (DNS) Solid IT basic knowledge (network, applications, etc.) Knowledge in Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Lightweight Directory Services (ADLDS) and Distributed Filesystem (DFS) First touch points with Power Shell Individual initiative, communication and team skills, motivation and organizational talent as well as conceptual and analytical thinking Good knowledge of English
