Description The IuK infrastructure projects & system planning department is responsible for the operation and further development of BVG's central information and communication systems. These include fire alarm, video and loudspeaker systems as well as the associated communication infrastructure. In doing so, you actively shape the further development of our video systems: you plan and control complex projects, ensuring a high product quality and successfully bringing innovative solutions into operation. Your tasks in detail: You plan, develop and operate complex IT and communication systems – from LAN and VoIP solutions to IP video to structured cabling and fiber-optic infrastructures The planning, management and implementation of demanding infrastructure projects are your responsibility – from technical design to tendering to successful commissioning – your topic is in the field of video installations Together with internal departments and external partners, you develop future-oriented communication solutions, evaluate technical requirements and ensure smooth system integration You analyze new technologies and market trends, develop technical concepts and actively contribute to the further development of our IT and communication infrastructure In addition, you will accompany the technical decline of new systems, develop policies and standards and ensure an economical, secure and reliable operation of our communication solutions With your know-how, you support the digitalization of BVG and actively shape the communication infrastructure for public transport of tomorrow
