Senior Zscaler & Cloud Security Engineer (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the Zscaler and cloud security environment – including operation, configuration and continuous development of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) in the context of Zero Trust and SASE architectures. You effectively implement Security Policies – you configure and optimize URL and content filtering, SSL decryption and access policies as well as monitoring, log analysis and incident support. You operate the network and firewall security infrastructure – the focus is on next generation firewalls such as Forcepoint and Fortinet. You continuously develop the network security – this includes updates, regulatory optimizations, security reviews, and collaboration with internal teams as well as external partners. You ensure compliance with security and compliance requirements – You accompany internal and external audits, identify security risks and manage appropriate measures. You are shaping security architectures sustainably – driving standardization and automation, consulting internal stakeholders technically and taking on point-by-point coordinating tasks in the cloud security environment.

Your training – you have a successfully completed study of (economic) informatics or comparable IT vocational training with corresponding professional experience. Your experience – You have already gained several years of professional experience in the field of network or cloud security and have a very good understanding of modern security concepts such as Zero Trust and SASE. We are also pleased if you have already been able to accompany security audits or work on compliance projects. Your know-how – you bring well-founded practical experience with Zscaler (ideally ZIA/ZPA) and solid knowledge in network bases (TCP/IP, routing, switching, IPSec). Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (e.g. Forcepoint, Fortinet), protocol and traffic analyses (e.g. Wireshark, tcpdump, Syslog) as well as knowledge in SD-WAN environments are desirable, but no basic requirement.
