The City of Bremerhaven (approximately 120,000 inhabitants:inside) is looking for the Office for Youth, Family and Women, Department “General Social Service (ASD)”

**Social workers:

• Group of charges S 14 TVöD (deficit order/VKA) -

as temporary representations for various reasons.

The area of responsibility includes:

• Decision to avoid the risk of child welfare and independent introduction of risk prevention measures
• Cooperation with the family and guardianship court
• Information, advice and support for families, family-like partnerships, single parents with children and young people and young adults
• Crisis intervention and protection for children and adolescents in physical, mental and sexual abuse and/or neglect
• advice on questions of social assistance, such as debt counselling, migration background etc.
• to initiate and support appropriate measures in the context of ‘helps to educate’ and

Preparation for an application is:

A completed study of the Social Work Programme B.A. or the Diplom-Socialpädagogik/Diplom-Sozialarbeit (FH) in each case with state recognition, alternatively a comparable degree (e.g. educational sciences) at Bachelor level with significant social pedagogical study contents or a degree of psychology at Bachelor level with a focus on pedagogical psychology. Alternatively, a Bachelor degree of Psychology degree with a focus on clinical psychology plus two years of professional experience in youth assistance is assumed.

In addition, bring you with:

• sound social education
• good legal knowledge (especially SGB Vlll)
