You identify needs and potential for improvement within KNDS and systematically collect user feedback to drive continuous optimizations. You develop prototypes for AI applications, test them together with users, evaluate the results and develop the solutions until You are productively usable. You integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into productive services and develop powerful and robust AI applications. Your tasks include the design and implementation of Retrieval-Augmented-Generation (RAG) solutions based on company-internal data. You develop agent-based AI solutions that support and automate complex business processes. The planning, implementation and continuous optimization of data integration workflows for structured and unstructured data also falls within your responsibility. Its task is to continuously monitor technological developments in the AI environment, in particular in the fields of Data Science, NLP, Transformers and agent-based AI.

You have a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a comparable subject or have an equivalent qualification. You have detectable, multiannual experience with LLM technologies and their programming (LLM stacks) With LLM-supported development environments, you are perfectly familiar and You have profound knowledge in RAG, as well as in working with Knowledge-Graph Frameworks and Agentic-AI-Frameworks. Embossed communication and team skills, as well as joy in working with specialist areas is important. You are able to advise and communicate stakeholders at different technical levels in order to ensure that all participants are at the same level and are aware of German and English in word and writing. Their high motivation to continue developing artificial intelligence is reflected in their commitment to actively shape KNDS' technological development. Experiences in MLOps, Python, container orchestration (e.g. OpenShift), data pipelines and with Atlassian JIRA/Confluence are desirable.
