Who we are

The clinic is one of the leading institutions in Munich and the surrounding area in the areas of childbirth aid, mamma surgery and surgical gynecology.

Departments: Birth aid Gynaecology Newborn intensive care unit (neonatology) Prenatal diagnosis Aesthetic plastic surgery Urodynamic measuring position Anaesthesiology Preparing birth In 2006, the Frauenklinik founded the certified breast centre on the English Garden. With around 300 treated first carcinomas per year, the breast center has also successfully established itself on the market. In 2009, the certified MIC centre was added to the English Garden. Minimally invasive surgery in gynecology has thus become the third important pillar for the clinic.

Where we work

The Frauenklinik Dr. Geisenhofer GmbH, located in an idyllic park on the English Garden, is one of the most traditional and renowned women's clinics in Munich. The former city palace of the princely family Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen was founded in 1940 by Dr. med. Lorenz Geisenhofer founded and has been continuously modernized since then. In the women's clinic Dr. Geisenhofer, new staff awaits a warm, family co-existence in addition to a stylish design.

What we do

This extension made it possible to significantly expand the range of services offered by the clinic. Thus, the clinic developed into one of the leading birth control institutions in Germany and increased the number of births to around 2,500 births per year.

Satisfied employees lead to great patient satisfaction The Frauenklinik Dr. Geisenhofer GmbH is awarded annually by the Techniker Krankenkasse as the Klinik in Munich with the greatest patient satisfaction. This award is incentive and commitment at the same time. Such a result in a service operation is only possible if all employees – from the kitchen, cleaning to the chief physician – are correspondingly motivated and engaged. Our employees are the largest capital of our women's clinic and since the beginning of the clinic, we have been committed to maintaining our family spirit. Although the number of employees is steadily increasing, 50 employees have started, today more than 180, this spirit is clearly perceptible.
