Welding Engineer (m/w/d)

Our client belongs to an international group of companies and develops innovative energy storage solutions. For the location in Zwickau, we are looking for a welding engineer (m/w/d) as part of the direct recruitment.

Conducting initial sample testing on welding assemblies at suppliers in Germany and abroad Testing of welding documentation, preparation of reports and follow-up of corrective measures Assessment of welding in the development phase and testing of welding requirements in the incoming goods Working with supplier audits including follow-up of measures Collaboration with the welding oversight in initial sample testing, audits and the laser welding process as well as coordination with the customer's welding oversight as required

Complete technical studies or a comparable qualification as a welding specialist (IWE) Experience in handling standards from railway technology or the automotive sector Relevant professional experience in initial sample tests and supplier audits VT2 tester qualification of advantage Secure handling of MS Office and CAD flowing German and good English knowledge in word and writing Journey readiness (about 70%), decision-making strength and team spirit
