For the Department of Education, we are looking for a*n Product Owner IT (m/w/div) Location: Berlin Application deadline: 02.07.2025 Employment: Full time (part time is possible in principle) Date of entry: Immediate Call number: 21-018-2025 Remuneration: E13 TV EntgO-DRV (higher service) Activity The area of IT and resources with around 20 employees within the Human Resources and Development department is responsible for the educational infrastructure of the DRV Bund. A special focus is on the provision and further development of the IT infrastructure in the educational sector of the house, as well as on the participation in transnational projects and topics with corresponding points of contact.

Development and communication of product vision together with internal customers Collection and validation of requirements in close coordination with internal customers and departments Definition, Priority and Care of Product Backlogs Ensuring the successful implementation of features taking into account customer benefits and business objectives continuous optimization of product functions based on user feedback and KPIs technical control of an agile developer team close cooperation with the management and support of these in achieving the objectives active and targeted participation in work and project groups

They have a successfully completed high- or specialized high-school education preferably in the IT sector (for example, business informatics, media informatics or comparable) with at least two years of practical experience in the IT sector or a successfully completed vocational training preferably in the IT sector (for example specialist in application development or system integration) with at least five years of practical experience in IT At least two years of experience in the application of agile working methods (such as Scrum, Kanban), ideally as a Product Owner Safe handling of tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps or the like is desirable Extensive communication strength, analytical thinking and decision-making skills Your knowledge of German in word and writing are reliable A strong learning ability and readiness complete your profile
