This makes the job interesting for you: Our Product Team “AI-Powered Grid Analysis” develops innovative algorithms for analyzing load flows in transmission networks. We use both classic numerical methods and modern artificial intelligence to address the challenges in the power grid of the future and to master the energy transition. Your tasks: You implement efficient algorithms for network and load flow analysis, You research and test AI-based methods and tools in the field of numerical mathematics, You analyze large amounts of data from the power transmission network, You work closely with other product teams and interdisciplinary partners.

your ongoing studies in mathematics, technomatics, electrical engineering, physics engineering, computer science or a comparable course of studies committed, strong mathematical abilities, especially in the field of numerical mathematics (e.g. linear algebra, differential equations, numerical procedures), have an interest in algorithm development and data analysis, desirable to have experience or interest in AI methods (e.g. machine learning, neural networks), to identify you through an independent and structured way of working, Electrotechnical knowledge is welcome, but not necessarily required, Good German (B2) and good English (B2) in word and writing, knowledge in French and/or Dutch are a plus.
