Head of Naval Logistics (m/w/d)

We offer a wide range of services to our customers, including Sonars and Sensors, Guide Systems for submarines and overwater ships, mine defence systems, unmanned underwater vehicles and radio and communication systems.

They take over the disciplinary and professional management of the Naval Logistics department in the area of services with around 50 employees. They are responsible for the orientation of the department along the strategic and technological business objectives. This also includes the active pursuit and implementation of trends in training and documentation. They actively promote the full logistical consideration of the product portfolio of ATLAS along the product life cycle (Integrated Logistics Support). You plan and optimize the necessary resources and their use taking into account a multi-project and product environment. They ensure the necessary qualification of employees and support the professional and personal development of them. They are also responsible for the post-occupation of jobs and the management of annual employee talks. You are responsible for the planning and implementation of your department's goals. They control and monitor compliance with the processes for Logistics Support and are responsible for the continuous improvement of applied standards, processes and processes. The completion of the agreed services within the department is also your responsibility. They represent all personal economic concerns of the department inward and outward. You take over the department's responsibility for costs.

You have a successfully completed university degree in the natural or engineering sciences or a successfully completed technical study in an STEM area. Furthermore, you have well-founded professional experience in the field of documentation and training, state of construction, configuration and obsolescence management of complex technical systems. Ideally, you have already been able to acquire knowledge of leadership and weapons deployment systems on ships and boats from international navals and other military contractors or have marine experience. Extensive experience and skills in leadership, motivation and further development of employees will help you. They promote teamwork and open and constructive communication between employees. Multiannual experience in the technical leadership of multinational teams and employees is desirable. They are motivated to advance changes and promote innovation in our responsibility. In addition to self-responsibility and enforcement, safe occurrence as well as pronounced resilience and flexibility are your strengths. It is easy for you to capture complex and abstract relationships in technical and organizational systems structured. You could already demonstrate very good analytical and conceptual skills. They have knowledge of German and English in word and writing and bring an open and tolerant appearance to customers of different nationalities. The readiness for occasional national and international missions completes your profile.
