Reference code of tender 20260340_9339 The Office for Inland Transport Technology (ABVT) is a subordinate authority of the General Directorate for Waterways and Navigation (GDWS) in the department of the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV). The office of ABVT is Koblenz, other employees are distributed to the Datteln, Minden, Magdeburg and Nuremberg departments. The Mosel-Saar-Lahn waterways and shipping office performs the administrative tasks of ABVT at the Koblenz, Trier and Saarbrücken offices. The transport technology of the Federal Waterways and Maritime Administration supports shipping and its logistics partners through modern, powerful and secure information systems, including the Automatic Identification System (AIS) and the Differential Global Navigation Satellite System (DGNSS). ABVT will build a system of traffic technology 4.0 based on the traffic technology strategy 2030 of the BMV nationwide.
