DevOps/Operations Engineer – Risk & Fraud (m/f/d)

As a DevOps & Operations Engineer (all genders), you will be able to ensure that our development and operating environments run safely, scalable and highly available – focusing on stability, security, monitoring and operational excellence. In the Risk & Fraud business unit, we develop SaaS solutions that enable banks and insurance companies to identify risks early and stop fraud – in highly regulated, business-critical environments. With your know-how in Linux, GitLab, Kubernetes, Artifactory and Ansible, you can build and operate modern CI/CD platforms, keep our systems running reliably and optimize them continuously. You are part of a transformation process in which we consistently focus on automation and AI tools.

You work in the team on the stable and secure operation of our SaaS services. You install, configure and manage our services and development environments in the CI/CD environment – including monitoring, logging, backup/disaster recovery, security hardening and capacity planning. Together with your colleagues, you take on the continuous maintenance and optimization of the platform, analyze disturbances, run root-cause analyses and guide sustainable improvement measures. After the DevX principle, you develop our services and improve user experience by automating operations and making the platform even more efficient. You actively participate in our transformation process, are open to new technologies and especially support the use of AI tools at INFORM. Our current Technology Stack: Linux, Git/GitLab, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Ansible etc.

About 2–3 years of experience with the construction, operation and automation of Linux-based systems and platforms – ideally with Ansible, GitLab, Artifactory and/or Kubernetes. Experience from comparable activities – e.g. as a system administratorin, platform engineer, operation engineer or specialist informantin with a focus on operation and automation - is advantageous Experience in operating hybrid environments with on-premises and cloud services. An independent, proactive procedure: You are actively involved in the team, grab topics and projects and help shape the ongoing operation. High reliability and a strong sense of responsibility for production-related, business-critical environments as well as the necessary flexibility to ensure the operation of the applications. Openness and curiosity for the use of AI tools in everyday work and the willingness to actively use and develop them in INFORM. German language skills (min. C2) and good English skills (min. B2).
