Improving the University Hospital's network team in Freiburg, You are actively involved in the implementation and administration of our homogeneous Cisco network infrastructure: cooperation in network design and configuration for patient care, research and technology Network support (passive / active) and Troubleshooting Coordination of external companies in extensions and repairs of passive network infrastructure Network documentation and monitoring in Cisco environments such as Cisco Catalyst Center, CA Spectrum, MRTG, proprietary development

active cooperation in the further implementation of network access control and network segmentation strategy You support the technological realignment (e.g. SDN, microsegmentation) and accompany necessary change processes You support the project work in the context of higher-level projects of information and communication technology

You have a completed degree as a network or IT security engineer, a completed vocational training as a specialist informatics*in (m/w/d) for system integration, or bring a corresponding qualification and expertise from your previous professional practice: relevant expertise in network technology. Knowledge in the field of IT infrastructure and network security, at best in the hospital environment, are advantageous Ideally, you will experience how to deal with Cisco networks and their environment You have good IT expertise on request analysis/ specification, system architectures, implementation of IT systems and communication systems You work independently, show self-responsibility but also teamwork, dynamics and enforcement strength and act in a targeted and solution-oriented manner You have very good communication skills in word and writing and can communicate with their expertise You are willing to accept call-readiness services in exchange with other colleagues
