The clinic has 30 beds and runs over 1,400 operations a year. Clinical focal points of vascular surgery are: Endovascular and open-surgical therapy of diseases of the entire aorta The peripheral open-reconstructive and interventional vascular surgery and the care of the diabetic foot The open and endovascular reconstruction of the supraaortal branches The open and endovascular reconstruction of the visceral arteries Dialysis access surgery Operational treatment of varicose Interdisciplinary care of wound patients in the certified wound center (ICW) together with the clinic for dermatology The clinic has a state-of-the-art hybrid operation room with high-performance angiography unit including radiation-free navigation (LumiGuide) In addition, the Clinic for Vascular Surgery operates its own experimental research laboratory incl. Fabric collection (BioBank). There is also connection to an extensively equipped laboratory for 3D printing. .
