ADAC IT Service GmbH is the central IT service provider for all IT services within ADAC and plays a key role in the further success of ADAC and the technical modernization of ADAC performance portfolio. You work with over 250 IT specialists in an attractive working environment with state-of-the-art technologies to further develop the digitalization of ADAC. We are looking for a passionate IT Solution Architect who has the pleasure of designing and implementing complex IT solutions for our in-house customers. In this role you are responsible for the end-to-end solution design and drive our IT transformation forward in exciting projects. You analyze existing architectures and requirements of our departments, develop sustainable, scalable solution designs (end-to-end) and accompany the implementation of complex IT solutions in a hybrid cloud environment. You validate the feasibility of your solutions in the form of Proof of Concepts, contribute to the creation of offers and support colleagues with your know-how in the concrete implementation. You advise customers and projects on the further development and optimization of the IT landscape in line with the roadmap and corporate strategy, are responsible for compliance with the architectural principles and standards, and are independently responsible for technical, software and architectural issues. You use existing technologies and rely on PaaS services from our cloud platform to meet the needs of interfaces between our specialist systems. Your solution designs are based on the business requirements of our departments. In your planning, you take into account the principles of our enterprise architecture as well as non-functional requirements for IT security and infrastructure.

Training – You have a completed degree of (economic) computer science or a comparable qualification in the IT environment. Professional experience – You have already gained several years of experience in software development, architecture or IT consulting, ideally in the insurance industry. Technical know-how – You have experience with software designs, languages and architectures, as well as technical dimensioning. Cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure scenarios have already been actively designed taking into account Middleware technology and IT security aspects. Knowledge or certification in the area of typical insurance applications is a plus. Your expertise is always up to date. Independent training and the visit of trade fairs are of course for you. Business and process understanding – Methods of requirements engineering and knowledge of typical insurance processes, such as damage management, as well as relevant (supervision) legal requirements are known to you. Communication – You not only have a high customer orientation and service mentality, but also very good communicative skills in German and English. You can present and visualize complex issues in a targeted manner. Analytical and strategic thinking, team skills and problem-solving competence complete your profile.
