As a Robotics Engineer (m/w/d), you are responsible for the development and implementation of advanced robotics solutions focusing on simulation, AI and control systems for industrial automation applications. You contribute significantly to increasing the performance and flexibility of robot-assisted systems. Their work includes the clock time calculation of mobile and static robots in production environments as well as the development of customer-specific automation solutions. Travel activities of up to 40% to customers and BÄR Automation GmbH in Gemmingen are part of your role. Varied tasks

Robot simulation & virtual commissioning: development and application of simulation models (e.g. Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim or MuJoCo) to validate motion planning, control and sensor integration. Artificial intelligence & machine learning: use of AI methods to optimize robotic behavior, e.g. by reinforcement learning, path optimization or visual navigation. System integration: Close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams to develop and integrate robust automation solutions in industrial environments. Software development: Development of software components in C++ and Python to control, power-based regulation and coordination of robot systems. Testing & Quality Assurance: Building automated test environments for robotics software, performing simulation tests and validation in the field. Technology Transfer & Innovation: Active observation of current research and integration of new technologies in industrial applications.

Multiannual experience in the development of robotics systems, ideally in the industrial environment Knowledge of C++ and Python as well as experience with simulation environments and tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo or similar You are familiar with force-based control algorithms for sensitive robot controls Higher education in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or a related area Travel readiness up to 40% Very good communication skills both in German and English You are characterized by an independent, thorough and team-oriented work setting You are bringing hand-on mentality and initiative
