The Medical Clinic 1 (Director: Prof. Jens Marquardt) covers the fields of gastroenterology / hepatology, endocrinology / diabetics, allg. Internal medicine, as well as nephrology / transplantation. The field of gastroenterology is responsible for the outpatient and stationary care for patients from the entire spectrum of the field of care for patients with chronically inflammatory intestinal diseases (CED). A daily clinic and an ASV structure are held for the CED assignment.
