Legal Counsel / In-house Lawyer (m/w/d)

As a service integrator, Xantaro specialises in network technologies and software solutions for carriers, service providers, cloud service providers and data center operators. With locations in Germany and the UK, we form the interface for customers towards international technology leaders and support them with comprehensive expertise and diverse services in developing, implementing and operating their networks and infrastructures. We also develop our own solutions and software platforms based on engineering and DevOps know-how. To support our team and as a growing group of companies, we are looking for you as a dedicated Legal Counsel (m/w/d) with a focus on IT and contract law. You work closely with our specialist departments and play a key role in the legal advice of our operating business. You'll report directly to our CFO.

You unleash, check and negotiate contracts in the B2B environment. Advising departments and management on a variety of legal issues focusing on IT and contract law and developing practical, risk-conscious solutions. You accompany internal projects and initiatives from a legal perspective and actively contribute to the successful implementation. Support in the design and implementation of legal training for employees to develop legal culture in the company. You develop and care for practical contractual templates and support in building efficient contract management structures. Identification of legal risks and development of appropriate risk mitigation measures in the business context.

You have the second legal state exam (preferably) or a Master of Laws (LL.M.). You have at least two to three years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the tech or B2B environment. A strong economic understanding and the ability to judge legal issues pragmatically and solution-oriented are a sign of you. You communicate safely and convincingly – in German and English. Self-responsible work, a structured approach and an entrepreneurial mindset are among your strengths. You have a basic technological understanding and willingness to continue developing in this area. You conduct negotiations in a sovereign and targeted manner, even in complex situations.
