As Technical Manager Automation (m/w/d), you play a central role in an international environment. You actively shape technical solutions, make directional decisions and make a major success our customer projects. You work closely with interdisciplinary teams in Europe and Asia and have the opportunity to develop standards and processes in a sustainable manner. In this key position, you take over the overall technical responsibility for complex automation projects – from the concept phase to engineering and commissioning to the successful handover to the customer. You act as a central technical interface between customers, sales, engineering and international suppliers. Technical management of demanding customer projects across the entire project lifecycle Responsibility for the technical quality, functionality and feasibility of automation solutions Conducting technical reviews, releases and milestone reviews Analysis and validation of technical customer requirements as well as optimization of solution concepts Management of technical changes and active risk management Technical support in commissioning, system tests and troubleshooting at the customer Ensuring compliance with customer requirements, standards and legal requirements Promoting standardization, best practices and continuous improvement within the engineering organization Technical support and further development of team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing

Complete study of automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in automation projects, ideally with technical responsibility Knowledge in automation systems, control technology and system integration Good understanding of software architectures, interface management and integration of automation systems in higher-level IT/OT landscapes Experience in handling complex, customer-specific technical solutions Embossed communication, moderation and stakeholders management skills Structured, solution-oriented and independent mode of operation German and English skills (Inter-)national, project-related travel readiness of approx. 50%
