In the Clinic for Cardiology, Conservative Intensive Medicine and Rhythmology in Augusta Hospital we treat patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases efficiently according to official Guidelines. Our medical-cardiological emergency ambulance, as well as the outpatient Centre for outpatient cardiological operations and the interdisciplinary intensive care unit are technically outstanding equipped.

We have a heart catheter laboratory with three examination sites, in which diagnostic and therapeutic interventions are carried out at the heart and a hybrid operation room. In addition, Functional areas for cardiac imaging. The Stepmaker/ICD ambulance completes the department. In the year Department about 4000 coronary artiographies (including interventions), about 600 Stepmakers/ICD/CRT implants as well as around 500 electrophysiological Studies (incl. ablations).
