Technician or Engineer (m/w/d) at the Institute for Jet Drives of the Faculty of Aerospace Technology (deducted up to 9b TVöD) at the next possible time, first sought in full or part-time until 31.12.2028. The Institute for Jet Drives (www.unibw.de/jet Drives) is a recognized partner of international aircraft engine and turbomachine manufacturers and has excellent experimental stands for use in research and teaching. These include, in particular, two large-scale installations, the high-speed smooth-winding duct and the engine test plant, at which a new test stand is currently being projected for the study of scalable (hybrid-electric) aeronautical drives. We are looking for active and qualified support for the further development and commissioning of this plant and for the support of the activities at the existing engine test stand.

You work on the construction and commissioning of a ''height test stand'' for small power plants, including the later experiment support at this plant, You are responsible for the technical implementation and supervision of the experimental tests in the Institute's engine and component testing plant and their maintenance and repair You act in the technical implementation and supervision of retrofitting work on the component and engine and component testing plant and their maintenance, repair and operation You contribute to the implementation of special experimental setups and special installations as well as further development of measurement technology You are actively working on rebuilding and instrumentation of the test benches and test carriers You support the scientific staff in the integration and expansion of the test rigs and in the implementation of adaptation work
