Senior Expert Group Accounting (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the creation, testing and analysis of consolidated financial results and for the implementation, monitoring and further development of control and quality assurance mechanisms in financial reporting Coordination and harmonisation of accounting policies and reporting standards with local financial teams, training, workshops and site visions to exchange knowledge and disseminate best practices Strategic leadership in the automation, digitization and optimization of financial reporting processes, introduction of new technologies and tools, implementation of process analysis and development and implementation of optimization and innovation plans Main contact partner:in external audits including providing comprehensive documentation, managing project and preparatory activities, as well as consulting on complex transactions, intercompany agreements and technical accounting issues Development and seizure of IFRS governance and accounting excellence at Group level, monitoring compliance in areas such as financial instruments, taxes and pensions, adaptation to capital market requirements, strategic use of SAP and consolidation tools, as well as management of IFRS-15 and standard integration projects in investment and/or accounting Shipbuilding

Graduate (Bachelor or Master) with a focus on Accounting/Audit or Finance Multiannual professional experience (3–5 years) in a comparable position in group accounting for listed companies or an audit firm Comprehensive knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Commercial Code (HGB) as well as experience in the implementation and optimization of IFRS processes and governance; deepened special knowledge in at least two complex accounting areas (e.g. lease accounting, impair testing, repentue recognition) Very good communication skills in German and English Embossed independent working, high team capacity and very good communication skills
