As a Senior Data Architect - Data Fusion Platform, you are responsible for the design and implementation of a modern data and interface architecture for IT solutions in the context of the collection and analysis of data from public sources (“Open Source Intelligence”).
Conception and optimization of data models, data flows and data integration processes of the IT solution
Ensuring data quality, security and governance in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements
Creation of architectural documentation, guidelines and standards for the data landscape
Cooperation with specialist architects of different BWI services, data engineers and data scientists to create a scalable data and analytics solution

Complete study of economic informatics, computer science or comparable qualification
At least 5 years of professional experience in data architecture, ideally within complex, strategic IT projects
Deep knowledge of database design (SQL/NoSQL), modern data architectures (DWH, Data Lake, Lakehouse) and ETL/ELT processes
Practical experience in data modeling (e.g. dimensional, relational, graph-based) and metadata management
Expertise in common methods of classic and modern IT architecture management. Detections based on certifications in IT architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF or CPSA and tools e.g. Enterprise Architect, Visio, draw.io are desirable
Good moderation and control skills in collaboration with other BWI teams
