The clinic is a teaching hospital at the University of Kiel and operates its own educational centre with around 200 apprentices. The clinic for vascular and endovascular surgery is one of the largest clinics of its kind in Schleswig-Holstein and stands for modern endovascular, open-surgical and preventive vascular care in the region and beyond. Schedule coordination: You organize the care of vascular surgeons: inside the office hours and take over the planning, appointment and coordination of vascular interventions. Material and implant logistics: They are responsible for the logistics of vessel-specific materials and implants and coordinate necessary special orders. Health care and assistance: They assist in wound therapy, participate in the response hour, perform blood withdrawals, provide locating cannulas and assist in vascular surgery. Preparation and investigation: They prepare medical report and carry out sonographic examinations under medical instructions. Documentation and development of the practice process: They document medical measures reliably, contribute to administrative tasks in everyday practice and develop processes further.

They ideally have completed training as health care and nursing staff:in, MFA, or comparable medical care training. At best, you already have the certificate as a vascular assistant: in the DDG or strive to train as vascular assistant:in or endovascular assistance (EVA).
