The Evangelical Regional Association Frankfurt and Offenbach (ERV) is an association of the Protestant Churches and the Evangelical City Deanate Frankfurt and Offenbach with many valuable, city-related tasks. We have a wide range of ecclesiastical institutions and social services in the region with the aim of supporting people in everyday life, but also in crisis situations and providing valuable help for self-help. More than 4,000 people with very different professions work for the Evangelical Church in Frankfurt and Offenbach and are committed to the welfare of citizens every day.

The Department of Finance and Accounting of the ERV deals with all issues relating to financing and accounting for all ecclesiastical institutions and social services within the Association in Frankfurt and Offenbach. This includes the processing of various tax issues with the submission of the tax declaration for the ERV and the legal entities. In the course of the preparation for the introduction of the VAT pursuant to § 2b UStG in 2027, you will also expect further exciting tasks in which you can actively participate.

Inclusion of tax issues and their description (i.e. preparation of tax assessment) and cooperation in the tax working groups in the field of competence Exemption of tax declarations for the ERV and the legal entities authorised by the ERV Planning (pre- and post-processing) targeted training of employees on tax issues Competent contact person for tax audits and for the city Deanate, the church municipalities connected to the ERV, as well as for external tax advisory bodies and the financial administration Preparation of templates for ERV and EKHN bodies

A completed training to/from the tax specialist/tax specialist:in or a successfully completed university course (Bachelor) with a focus on accounting and/or taxes Ability to conceptual work Routinized handling of common office applications (especially Excel) Comprehensive knowledge of tax law and accounting A solution-oriented, structured and precise operation Teamability, reliability, independence
