For over 100 years, the youth hostels have represented values that enrich life. As a non-profit association we operate 44 youth hostels in the most beautiful places in Baden-Württemberg. We create moments and experiences that remain in our head and go to heart. In a family atmosphere, we work daily to meet this goal. The hostel Stuttgart International has 309 beds in 94 rooms and the hostel Stuttgart Neckarpark has 155 beds in 43 rooms. You prepare meals for the lunch and evening buffet and take into account the economic aspects and the quality standards of the DJH. You clean the dining room and kitchen area incl. Devices in no time and always keep in mind the hygiene and quality standards. You store the goods professionally and control them regularly. If necessary, you will support the bistro staff when selling drinks and snacks.

You have completed a vocational training course on the domestic or near-cook (m/w/d). You have basic knowledge of the Infection Protection Act (IfSG) and the LMHV. A high level of reliability and flexibility as well as the willingness to work in the shift system and on weekends are of course for you. A stand-alone and solution-oriented way of working as well as team skills are yours. You've got the license. You are ready for use in shiftwork (monthly planning) You are resilient, responsible and trustworthy. German knowledge and ideally English knowledge complete your profile.
