Head of Supplier Quality & Incoming Goods Inspection (m/w/d)

Your challenge: Responsibility for incoming goods inspection, including determination of test methods, frequency and characteristics, as well as ensuring that only released goods are used in the factory monitoring and control of the APQP process for new purchases of purchase parts in cooperation with the purchase of projects according to internal requirements; Escalation of critical deviations and support in their clarification Sustainable processing of complaints in the series in cooperation with suppliers, internal works and service providers; Agreement and tracking of supplier targets in the Vendor rating system Ensuring the cost burden of quality defects compared to suppliers and monthly evaluation of supplier performance based on defined KPIs and standards Responsibility for blocking messages and their timely processing as well as ensuring the escalation process in cooperation with the relevant purchasing functions Planning and implementation of improvement programmes for the quality of the goods and supplier audits at home and abroad, including documentation and action tracking Power of decision to immediately interrupt processes or product deliveries in the event of deviations from specifications and identified safety or environmental risks

Your profile: Education: Successfully completed technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering) as well as specialist additional qualifications in quality management Professional experience: At least five years of experience in the field-relevant activity profile within the automotive industry The necessary knowledge and skills can also be acquired in other ways

Expertise: Experience in leadership of teams desirable Very good knowledge of the application of common quality methods (e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, APQP, PPAP) Completed auditor training according to ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 with proven audit practice

Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Personality: Leadership with clear target orientation, high self-responsibility and the ability to motivate and develop teams Communication and enforcement strength in handling suppliers and internal interfaces, including in escalation and negotiation situations Analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented working with a pronounced quality awareness High resilience and flexibility combined with openness to change and intercultural understanding
