Individual case advice and coaching: analysis of the individual situation, development of solution strategies, motivation and stabilization. Promoting key competencies such as communication skills, conflict resolution, self-organisation and work behaviour. Stabilisation of the living situation by consulting on topics such as living, health, finance, government contacts, everyday structure and crisis management. Crisis intervention and mediation in further aid systems if necessary. Cooperation with network partners such as consultancy offices, employers, social services, schools, medical institutions, debt counselling, housing aids and other social services and medical facilities. Documentation and reporting according to the requirements of the funding programme and the institution.

A successfully completed study of social education/working and/or Social work, medical education or rehabilitation, special education (Diplom, Bachelor or Master), pedagogy without supplementary subjects with experience with the target group or a successful degree in state-approved education professions with relevant supplementary qualification. Experience in working with disadvantaged young people and young adults, as well as in the social and professional integration of young people. Knowledge of assistance systems, in particular youth assistance, psychosocial counselling and labour market instruments according to SGB II and SGB III (e.g. knowledge in the application of social benefits). Skills in consulting, motivational work, crisis intervention and case management. Self-employed, structured working and team skills. Ready to work and flexible working times. Designed consulting skills, empathy and communication skills. Experience in the interface work with employers, authorities and institutions, as well as the activities in the action structures of the Agency for Labour and the Job Centre.
