You conduct and coordinate development projects in the field of tribology for machine elements such as transmissions, bearings, seals or sliding pairings, in particular for robotic drive systems. You develop test concepts and perform tribological test series, supported by statistical methods and AI-based evaluations to evaluate friction, wear and lubrication under realistic loads. Integrate in close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams It tribological findings directly into the development of lubricants for modern robotics and drive systems. You analyse damage mechanisms and develop strategies to optimize lubrication, lifetime and energy efficiency, including simulations and validations. You support the development of predictive maintenance models and create technical documentation and presentations.

You have a degree with a focus on tribology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related field of expertise — or you convince us by your practical expertise. Your experience in automation, robotics or precision technology makes you feel at home in challenging technical environments and have ideally successfully conducted interdisciplinary R&E projects. You convince with sound expertise in tribology, lubrication and surface technology as well as with practical experience in component testing and modern analytical methods. You control data analysis tools and the handling of MATLAB or Python. With your strong analytical skills, clear communication and reliable English, you are well prepared for international cooperation.
