For our Medical Center for Adults with Disabilities (MZEB), we are looking for a dedicated and qualified person as a senior physician in an indefinite working relationship at the Lübeck site.

Our MZEB offers a specialized and comprehensive medical care for adults with complex disabilities. Our goal is to improve the quality of life and self-determination of our patients by ensuring interdisciplinary diagnostics, therapy and advice at the highest level.

This is what awaits you:

• Individually responsible neurological diagnostics, therapy planning and implementation of complex diseases in adult people with intellectual and/or multiple disabilities, as well as comprehensive consultation of patients, their relatives and reference persons

• Leadership and cooperation in a multi-professional team of doctors, therapists and medical professionals

• Active participation in the training, further training of assistant physicians, students and employees of the MZEB

• Designing and implementing research projects in the field of medicine for people with disabilities and publishing scientific results

• Development and implementation of specialized treatment standards and supply structures

Take this with you:

• You are a specialist in neurology and have proven professional experience in a medical centre for adults with disabilities (MZEB)

• Successful completion of the curriculum "medicine for people with intellectual impairment or multiple disability"

•Expressed academic activity (e.g. in the form of research, teaching, publications or lectures)

• Empathy, excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex facts patiently and understandably

• Team skills, interdisciplinary thinking, high level of responsibility, self-sufficiency, organisational talent and passionate commitment to the concerns of our patients
