The University Hospital for Pneumology of PMU has 108 employees, of which 28 are doctors. The tasks of the Executive Board include: Head of the University Hospital for Pneumology of PMU in all professional, organizational and human matters Further development and ensuring the high-quality clinical care of patients in all areas of the subject Promoting and coordinating scientific research and medical innovation in the field Acquisition of third-party funding for research projects as well as further development of the clinic and implementation of new treatment methods Ensuring high-quality, professional university teaching for human medicine students according to modern medical-didactic principles by the clinic Ensuring a structured training at the highest level in all stages of medical development (e.g. training as a specialist, basic training) by the clinic Development of the National and International Visibility of the Clinic Cooperation with interdisciplinary teams within university medicine and national and international networks Promoting approaches to decentralized supply of lung diseases in the federal state of Salzburg Further development of telemedical supply concepts

Technical requirements Specialist in internal medicine and pneumology or lung diseases or equivalent training detectable experience in clinical and scientific management in a field of a pneumological department, ideally in the academic environment Long-term experience and comprehensive knowledge in all major areas of pneumology Habilitation or equivalent scientific qualification, experience in applied clinical research and continuous scientific activity Experience in competitive third-party acquisition Specialized teaching experience and experience in the development of courses at universities based on contemporary teaching principles International visibility and recognition Competence and willingness to constructive interdisciplinary cooperation Knowledge and positive attitude on equal treatment and promotion of women Personal requirements Personal competence: You make informed decisions and are willing to take responsibility Methodology competence: You think economically and find creative and efficient solutions Social competence: You communicate effectively, master conflicts and motivate your team Required requirements Completed management training or the willingness to complete this self-responsibly timely.
