Awarded as an academic teaching hospital at the University of Ulm with 15 specialist clinics, 2 institutes, 10 organ and treatment centres as well as 6 MVZ departments, the Klinik-Gesellschaft secures the outpatient and stationary health care. It is one of the largest employers and service companies in the region of Ostwuerttemberg. Patient management takes care of our patients at administrative level. These include, for example, the maintenance of the master data, the settlements of the stays, as well as official communications on births and deaths. General responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the patient management department Leadership, development and motivation of an interdisciplinary team consisting of 14 employees Control and coordination of workflows within the department with optimization of specific interfaces to other units of the clinic (focus: administrative patient processes, ensuring liquidity) Responsibility for costs and patient fracture in the area DRG, PEPP, GOÄ and EBM; billing of services to legal and private health insurance companies and patients Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal quality standards drawing up reports, statistics and evaluations to support strategic decisions; with help in building and establishing a BI tool Extrajudicial and judicial prosecution of claims of the clinic against self-paying patients and other cost-beneficiaries contact persons for patients, cost carriers and external accounting service providers; ensuring a high quality of service through professional care and friendly communication Ensuring compliance with data protection and compliance requirements in the area of patient accounting Initiation and implementation of change processes, in particular with regard to digitalization and process optimization

Complete business studies in healthcare, e.g. health economics, hospital management or a comparable qualification As an alternative: completed training as a health professional (m/w/d) Insufficient professional experience in patient accounting in the hospital environment or in a comparable administrative function, ideally with comprehensive management experience Finded knowledge in the DRG and PEPP accounting system as well as the outpatient accounting methods according to EBM and GOÄ and the settlement according to §§ 115a, 115b and 115f SGB V Knowledge of contract knowledge of patient administration and the handling of hospital information systems, ideally experience with ORBIS Safe handling of MS Office programs as well as possibly Knowledge of BI tools for evaluation and analysis Impressed value-oriented leadership with high social competence, communication strength and organising skills Experience in change management and the development and implementation of strategic concepts High level of initiative, sense of responsibility, independent and structured work Friendly and professional appearance as well as a high service orientation
