As an important player at the Berlin Centre for Gene & Cell Therapy (BCGCT), we will support our customers with process development and GMP-compliant manufacturing services to provide clinical solutions for these life-changing products. At the beginning of our next growth phase, ProBioGen is looking for a visionary head of business strategy that will help shape our future orientation.

As Head of Business Strategy, you are significantly involved in the design of ProBioGen's long-term growth. You report directly to the CEO and work closely with the management team. You work at the interface between scientific innovation, business development and commercial implementation. Your tasks include recognizing market trends, assessing expansion opportunities – both organic growth and targeted acquisitions – and ensuring that our services offer meets the changing requirements of the global biotech industry. Your tasks: Company and growth strategy: Head of the creation and implementation of ProBioGen's 3- to 5-year strategic roadmap to promote sales growth and business development. Identification of strategic initiatives, implementation of management priorities in workflows and monitoring implementation M&A and partnerships: assessment of strategic partnerships, joint ventures and potential M&A opportunities. Head of Business Case Development, Scientific and Commercial Due Diligence and Integration Planning Market analyses: Observation and analysis of macroeconomic trends, competencies, financing landscape in the biotech sector and market trends in the biopharma industry to identify proactive new growth drivers cross-functional strategic initiatives: cooperation with R&D and Business Development to identify and develop business models for new services and technologies; Monitoring the cross-functional implementation Capacity planning and organisational development: Together with the Executive Team, define the presence and organisational capacities needed to implement ProBioGen's growth strategy

Forced necessary: Master degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Medicine, Business Administration or a related field. A doctoral degree is advantageous, but not necessary, provided that an equivalent specialist competence is demonstrated by professional experience At least 10 years of professional experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in the fields of business development, business strategy or a leading strategy consultancy focusing on life sciences Finded understanding of the life cycle of drug development, production processes and the CDMO outsourcing paradigm. Analytical thinking and data-based problem solving capabilities, including market analysis and strategic marketing Persuasive power to influence decision-makers at leadership level and to convey complex strategic concepts clear and decision-oriented Experience in working in cross-functional and international teams flowing English knowledge; German is an advantage Remarkable: Direct CDMO experience or experience with cell and gene therapy methods Practical experience with M&A transactions (purchasing or sales page) Experience in a privately owned or medium-sized company within a larger group structure
