As a Customer Application Engineer (m/w/d) – Mechanical Design you are part of Optima Pharma. In the development and production of intelligent turnkey filling solutions including isolator and freeze dryers, you will work with the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Future-oriented, sustainable and flexible.

After receipt of the order, you will be consulted with the customer, will actively clarify all the open technical requirements in the project and will accompany it until handover to the relevant specialist departments and project management. They develop tailor-made solutions and concepts, discuss open and critical points from the User Requirements Specification (URS), including specialist specialists from the relevant fields. They participate in external kick-off meetings, regular project meetings with customers and mock-up studies. In the field of expertise, you are responsible for all topics relating to mechanical construction and continuously develop your expertise. In this context, check customer-related requirements and create release-relevant documents with project data. In the offer phase, you will technically support the project planning and work closely together in developing customer-specific solutions taking into account the User Requirements Specification. They identify new market standards, align them with the Engineering department and integrate them into the product portfolio.

You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics. Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification, ideally supplemented by a further training to the technician. They have many years of experience in handling international customers and extensive know-how in pharmaceutical machine and plant engineering, in particular in the fields of mechanics and processing processes. Your focus is on the highest quality and the satisfaction of our customers, which ensure you with your strong customer orientation as well as your outstanding team and communication skills. They convince with strong analytical competence and have strong capabilities in project management, in the moderation of meetings, the documentation of processes and the enforcement ability to successfully complete projects. It is a matter of course for you to learn German and English and the willingness to participate in occasional business trips and form the basis for your work in the national and international environment.
