Senior Manager System Engineering Power Systems (m/f/d)

Team leadership & technology development: leadership and further development of a dedicated team and promotion of technical skills. Support in the development and maintenance of state-of-the-art technologies and related processes and tools. System integration and validation: management and professional management of employees in the fields of system design, design testing, technical integration, and planning and implementation of tests, simulations and qualifications according to military standards. Product Safety and Risk Management: Responsibility for the creation and maintenance of product safety documentation as well as the management of risk assessments, FMEA and CE processes in accordance with military standards. Control the development and implementation of safety concepts, safety reviews and coordination of external safety engineering service providers. Resource Management: Responsibility for personnel planning, strategic team building and qualification and continuous further development of employees. Close coordination with the project leaders on demand planning and targeted resource use according to project requirements. Communication & technical representation: Control of cooperation with customers, inspection bodies, authorities and internal departments. Responsible as technical contact for questions as well as support for acquisitions and offerings.

Successfully completed university studies in electrical engineering (alternative: mechatronics, aerospace technology or comparable) Long-standing experience in system engineering with focus on requirements management, test/validation or product safety in the military environment Funded knowledge of V-Model XT, AQAP, MIL-STD, STANAG and safe handling of DOORS Impressed leadership and communication skills as well as good technical understanding and analytical thinking skills High self-motivation and strong communication strength to promote efficient cooperation German and English knowledge for communication with international partners and authorities Intercultural competence for successful work with international teams and partners. High social competence, especially in the construction of trust and professional handling of employees, contractors and specialist departments Ready to travel, about 15%
