Then you could become the new program manager or the new program manager (w/m/d) at the managing authority of the EU program Interreg Deutschland-Danmark at the Investment Bank Schleswig-Holstein. With the support of the EU Commission, the EU programme supports cross-border cooperation between nine circles and non-circular cities in Schleswig-Holstein and the two neighbouring regions on the Danish side.

For the management and implementation of the programme, IB.SH has established the so-called managing authority, which cooperates closely with colleagues (w/m/d) in the Interreg Secretariat in Kruså (Denmark).

The tasks of the managing authority are very versatile, always varied and exciting activities that we will work into. The core task of the managing authority is the administrative management of the programme (including the authorisation of projects, the financial assessment of expenditure and the financial management of the programme to the EU Commission, the preparation of the meetings of the Monitoring Committee).

We work actively and together in the team on the successful implementation of the program. You support the projects independently in matters relating to the implementation of the project and the payment requests, and are continuously exchanged with the team. You shall examine the correctness of the disbursement applications submitted before the funds are paid out.

Completed European study or Studies in the field of economics, geography, law, administration or a comparable qualification A plus, but no need is knowledge of EU funding programmes ̶, especially Interreg ̶, as well as experience in the application of grant law. Communication competence! You bring appropriate knowledge of German and Danish to the position or the willingness to further develop the other language skills in the short term. You have already successfully applied your good English skills. You bring intercultural competence to work in a German-Danish team. You are a structured, responsible person who likes to work independently and appreciates engaging in the sustainable, future-oriented development of our German-Danish funding region together with others.
