Designing and building complex test stands for welding tests Selection and integration of suitable equipment technology, welding current sources etc. Cold and hot cracking tests, incl. Instrumentation and visual testing and evaluation of welding Self-testing and evaluation and documentation of the results Cooperation with laboratory engineers in the preparation of welding experiments, their implementation and testing of welded components

Successfully completed training for the state-tested technicianin with a focus on manufacturing technology, metal processing, construction, automation or comparable (e.g. construction mechanic in the field of welding technology, plant mechanicin, industrial mechanicin) Further training for the International Welding Technicians*in (IWT) is desired Good communication and information behaviour, targeted and structured working, initiative / willingness to deploy, team capacity and willingness to cooperate, willingness to learn, flexibility, resilience and reliability
