Number: MER0003KPE We as a center are wholly responsible for transportation: for materials, finished vehicles, spare parts and cargo carriers - and with passion. With our Group-wide responsibility for transport network planning and procurement, the operational operation of the inbound and empties for all Mercedes-Benz Cars (MBC) locations in Europe and the supply of the CKD and Pbp plants, we bundle key control levers under one roof. In this way, we make a significant contribution to optimizing the overall costs in in- and outbound logistics. The department is responsible for supplying the suppliers of the Mercedes-Benz plants with empties. Our activities include planning, digitization/optimization/ adaptation of the processes in addition to the supervision of the operational logistics processes. The Load Carrier Management W50/ W54 team controls the cargo carriers and empties service providers at the Sindelfingen and Rastatt site and is looking for reinforcement for cross-border strategic projects. Be involved in shaping the future and working on an innovative logistics project. With this project, Mercedes-Benz redesigns its inbound logistics concept as well as the complete empty goods supply. These challenges include: You work in the material and information flows (including storage, goods receipt and transport, external service providers, production supply) within the framework of the predefined overall conception You support the optimal design of future processes in the Europe-wide network You will participate in continuous improvement projects and digitization projects in the empty goods processes You take analyses and evaluations and represent the results using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
