Your job They will work together in interdisciplinary project teams as part of development projects. Your main tasks will include: Conception, (further) development & maintenance of firmware modules in the field of FPGA for light microscopes of all kinds

Team-wide development and coordination of firmware concepts with other structures for microscopy

Support external development of FPGAs as well as take over and integrate the development results of external development partners

Document and present commissioning of hardware prototypes with the associated firmware in cooperation with other development departments and external partners as well as development results

Development of Functional Safety Concepts and related FPGA / CPLD firmware

Development and implementation of image processing algorithms on FPGAs
