AEE – Institute for Sustainable Technologies (AEE INTEC) is a leading non-university research institution in the field of applied research on thematic priorities of buildings, industrial systems, cities and networks and technology development. Around 90 employees from more than 15 nations work together on concrete solutions for the energy transition at our site in Gleisdorf. The “Building” area is working on future-oriented solutions for new construction and renovation – from energy-efficient building concepts to building technology and renewable energies to sustainable construction. The focus is on the development and implementation of practical solutions for climate-neutral, affordable and quality buildings. As a software developer for “Digital Building Data” you are involved in the design, development and operation of software solutions for managing and processing different data on buildings. We are looking for a dedicated personality as: Software Developer (m/w/d) (partial or full-time)

Development and documentation of tools for the management and processing of building data Development, error analysis and troubleshooting in existing solutions Implementation and administration of software solutions on Linux servers Working with the team on exciting research projects

Successfully completed training (HTL/FH/TU) with the focus on computer science, software development, natural sciences or a related subject Independent development with Phyton and common open source libraries Knowledge of modern web technologies (HTTP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or SQLite Secure handling of Linux command line and development tools (e.g. SSH, Git) Joy in structuring information and data visualizations Motivated and independent working methods as well as networked thinking and process understanding Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

The minimum annual salary for HTL graduates is € 39,800,- brutto (full-time/year); for FH/TU Master's degree, the minimum annual salary is € 53,500,- brutto (full-time/year).
