= Job description

As part of a project funded by the EU, we have a temporary position (up to 31.05.2029) for the R&D, Research Finish division at the Weißbach site with the following priorities:

• Development of sustainable and future-oriented surface concepts and materials based on biotechnologically produced polymers and additives
• Raw material and technology screenings to evaluate the use within the SSL with a focus on lacquer and coating technology
• Joint developments with EU project partners, raw material suppliers, start-ups, institutes and technology partners, in particular from the paint technology industry
• Planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of experiments in laboratory, technology and production
• Close cooperation within the R&D and with process development, production, design and purchasing

Qualifications

• Complete study or planned industrial promotion with a focus on coating technology, biotechnology, lacquer chemistry, polymer chemistry or comparable qualification
• Knowledge of paint preparation and application processes
• Knowledge of physical-mechanical and thermoanalytical testing technology
• Experience with project work
• Secure handling of MS Office and other programs
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• Structured and analytical methods
