Our hydropower plant group at the Regensburg site is looking for you!

Responsible for the economic and safe operation of hydropower plants on the Danube Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, safety rules, environmental requirements and legal obligations, notifications, authorisations and contracts, especially in the case of flood, low water and large disturbances, in close cooperation with the competent authorities Management, development and training of employees in the power plant group Ensuring effective stakeholder management Communication of the corporate vision, strategy and objectives and development of derived priorities for the power plant group Establishing a sustainable performance-oriented culture based on Operational Excellence (Lean Management) principles for continuous improvement of leadership, operational performance, employee retention and HSSE Development of cultural change to strengthen diversity and team spirit

Complete master's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification, additional qualification doctorate or MBA of advantage At least 10 years of relevant experience in the energy sector (or comparable sectors) and multi-year leadership responsibility Extensive knowledge of industry-relevant rules of technology, occupational safety, information security, environmental protection and sustainability Extensive understanding of the operation and technology of hydropower plants (or a similar environment) Leadership, moderation, negotiation and management skills Outstanding analytical skills and extensive understanding of financial, commercial and risk-based relationships High readiness, high level of self-initative and readiness to accept Impressed ability to identify strategic issues, work out structured and communicate on management level Strong networking skills to build resilient relationships High level of mental resilience in crisis management of temporally unforeseeable events with a variety of uncertainty factors Inspiring leadership with pronounced professional attitude and high quality standards English and German languages High level of readiness for travel (national and international) JOBV1_EN
