Referent Data- & BI-Engineer - Bochum (m/f/d)

In your new role, you are responsible for the development of BI dashboards that visualize key KPIs and can be flexibly aggregated and expanded You actively promote the development and transformation of our system landscape in SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, Databricks and SQL Server/Azure SQL You are the central interface between the specialist departments and the demand management of IT and take over the derivation, design and optimization of reporting and BI solutions Your responsibility lies in the analysis of data from different systems - you prepare them in powerful BI solutions and ensure transparency in business processes. You extract, model and optimize data structures for effective reporting and decision processes You accompany the introduction of new solutions, formulate change requests and support in tests and acceptances You are networking specialist areas: You translate operational requirements into tailor-made IT concepts and act as a mediator/knowledge manager between departments and IT You share your knowledge: Through training and knowledge transfer, you strengthen the team and drive the continuous further development

You have completed your studies in Data Science, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration with IT or data focus, Mathematics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Physics or a comparable qualification with data science priorities Professional experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data science, data engineering, data analysis, reporting or related areas – ideally in an environment with SAP and SQL databases You are familiar with ERP and Business Warehouse solutions (e.g. SAP ERP and SAP BW): You know the data models and understand how You can be integrated into BI solutions You have already worked with BI tools: Ideally, you know SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere (DSP) and Databricks and can create complex reports - knowledge of ETL processes or basic knowledge in Python are beneficial
