Transport Logistics Officer Sea Import

You are a communicative personality with pleasure in logistics processes and a strong service idea and want to advance your career in a globally active company? At Würth Logistics you will strengthen our Team Operations Sea Import at the location in Dornstadt. Together with currently 6 professionals, you will take care of the efficient transport processing for our customers and ensure a smooth flow of goods. You organize and coordinate the orders for sea freight imports, which are predominantly automatically running through our transport management system, and monitor the course of the shipment. In the case of partially automated processes, you collect the transport orders yourself in our transport management system, dispose of the shipments and rectify the orders to the customers and service providers. In our transport management system, you consolidate the shipments, shape more efficient and cost-effective flows of goods with the best possible cargo space utilization, thereby contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions to the conservation of the environment. As a key point between customers, shipping companies, agents and service providers, you are responsible for a smooth flow of communication and information. You are a contact person for inquiries about import transports, information about shipment status and complaints. You monitor the timely execution of sea freight imports and make sure that all relevant information and documents are available in full and in time. In case of malfunctions, you will find the best possible solutions for fast solutions and complaints. At your work, you are questioning the efficiency of the processes and continually improving the processes.

You have a completed training as a forwarding businessman or another commercial training. First professional experience in the forwarding/logistics industry, ideally in the field of import or sea freight, you have already been able to collect. You work independently, responsibly and with high self-motivation. You master the hectic everyday life with well-thought-out working technology and speditiver working. You communicate verbally and in writing in stylistic German and at a good level in English. The experienced handling of MS Office programs is a prerequisite. Knowledge in TMS/SAP TM is a plus.
