Your tasks:

• Technical and disciplinary management of the development department in the field of waste incineration plants

• Responsibility for the strategic orientation and further development of technologies in plant engineering

• Conducting research and development projects to optimize existing and develop new processes

• Control and monitoring of innovation processes and implementation of new technical solutions

• Close cooperation with other departments (engineering, production, sales, purchasing) to integrate new developments in ongoing projects

• Budget and resource planning for development projects

• Identification and evaluation of new technologies, materials and processes in the field of energy efficiency, emission reduction and circular economy

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, standards and environmental requirements

• Establishing and maintaining cooperation with research institutions, universities and industrial partners

• Promoting and developing the team through training and know-how transfer

Your profile:

• Complete studies in mechanical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering or energy engineering

• Multiannual experience in the development of plant or power plant technology, ideally in the field of waste incineration or thermal processes

• Experience in leading development or engineering teams

• Knowledge of thermal, mechanical and process engineering processes

• Experience with simulation and CAD software as well as modern development and innovation methods

• Good knowledge of relevant standards, directives and environmental regulations (BImSchG, TA Luft, EU regulations)

• Analytical and strategic thinking combined with innovative spirit

• Communication and team skills and interdisciplinary thinking

• German and English skills
