Our Financial Services division focuses on financial services and supports banks, insurance companies and asset managers to be successful in an ever-changing and fast-paced world.

As part of our Technology Strategy Team in Munich, Frankfurt/Main, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Cologne or Berlin, specialized in the financial services sector, you take responsibility in consulting our customers:inside on topics relating to data and AI transformations. You can do a variety of tasks: Conception and implementation of AI-ready Lakehouse architectures with Delta Lake and the Medallion Pattern, design of data models taking into account metadata and a semantic layer, introduction of data mesh and data products, build up reliable integration and transformation processes using e.g. Auto Loader and/or Delta Live Tables as well as integration of data quality testing and SLAs Development of end-to-end data pipelines on databricks and similar solutions (preferably with experience in Azure), using PySpark and SQL for batch and streaming processing as well as implementation of DataOps practices incl. CI/CD, automated testing and deployment strategies for scalable data platforms integration with upstream and downstream systems (e.g. Kafka/Confluent, Event Hubs, REST APIs, ADLS/S3; BI tools such as Power BI and Databricks SQL Warehouses), as well as orchestration and essay of monitoring of workflows (e.g. Databricks Workflows, Airflow, Azure Data Factory) and FinOps for cloud data platforms Definition and Configuration and Data Governance Functionalities: Catalogs, Schemes, Permissions, Data Lineage, Auditing, Access Control at Row and Column Levels. Also use of “Security, Privacy and Compliance by Design” (GDPR, BaFin requirements) and implementation of SSO/SCIM, Secret Scopes, Network Insulation/Private Link Encryption Cooperation with architects, analysts and product owners, documentation of designs, exchange of best practices, mentoring for junior engineers. In addition, cooperation on offers, accelerators and support in the handover to operational operations and incident elimination

Complete study of (economic) computer science, (economic) mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering or another field of study with technological-analytical background and more than three years of experience in data engineering on cloud platforms Practical understanding of data governance and data security in regulated environments, as well as strong consulting, (software)engineering and technology strategy competencies focusing on the implementation of business goals in scalable, future-proof solution architectures for modern data and cloud platforms Very good communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English
