You love to repair or craft smaller things at home? But are you actually interested in the really big machines in the factories that produce from the chocolate bar to the car to machine parts for us? By training as an industrial mechanic (m/w/d) you get there. In the workshop and in the production hall, you will learn the important handles for the assembly and disassembly of machines. Whether grinding, milling or filing – in your training you learn all techniques of metalworking! In short: You are the all-rounder in all industrial companies!

This is your place During your 3.5-year training in operation, you become a professional for large machines and equipment! In your training, you will learn how to create the necessary components and assemble them into machines and systems. If a part is broken or has to be adjusted, you will repair it or rebuild it. You will then restart the facility and check if everything works The following training contents are on the programme to get to know and learn materials that are used when Manufacturing workpieces and components Evaluate technical drawings and make your own assembly drawings Mount individual parts to whole machines, put into operation and wait later Installation of components into the plant Care and maintenance of tools and facilities Find and eliminate errors

Your good school degree (Qualicified Mittel- or Intermediate school graduation or Abitur) provides the ideal prerequisite With good grades in math and physics it is easier to understand the basics of control technology or to make calculations You are motivated to get to know and apply new knowledge and modern techniques and procedures You have a good constitution, craftsmanship and a quick understanding. The techniques, such as piling, drilling, milling or grinding, then learn in your training You can easily communicate with others and work together You can do independent tasks You fascinate the design and interior of large machines You work carefully – this pays off during the assembly of the systems and quality testing What else you need to know Similar to other professions in industry, training as an industrial mechanic (m/w/d) takes 3.5 years and takes place dually, so you are on the move between a vocational school and your training place Your vocational school usually takes place 1-2 days a week and is running at the Pegnitz With good performance, after your training, we are very interested in taking you and continuing to accompany your development
