Senior Support Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibility for customer requests: You analyze and process requests from our software customers in the banking environment as well as our specialist departments about the ticket system or in direct exchange in the areas of service development and operation of our TRAVIC product family. Close cooperation in the support network: You work hand in hand with the central support team, the development teams and the service operation to solve concerns customer-oriented, structured and efficient. Interface to product and service management: You agree with product and service management as well as our development teams on solutions, workarounds and delivery dates and always have a look at the needs of our customers. Expert role for operation and cloud: You know the operating environments of our software customers in detail and are an expert for the technical and professional operation of our cloud products. Support-related customer deployments: You take digital customer deployments (e.g. web sessions), for example on consulting, integration and migration topics around our products in the customer environments. Development of products and services: You identify potential for improvement and actively contribute your ideas to the further development of our products and services.

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification (e.g. training in technical informatics with multiannual professional experience). You bring well-founded experience in Java software development as well as safe handling of popular tools (e.g. IntelliJ IDEA). You also have a broad technical understanding of databases, servers or containers, messaging, networks and firewalls. Experiences in support are advantageous. You are interested in professional topics in payment transactions. Experience in this environment is a plus, but no need. You will also look beyond the edge of the plate and want to build a broad understanding of our products, their use and their operation with our customers. You show your own initiative, work structured and reliable and take responsibility – both in the team and in direct customer contact. Very good German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (B2) in word and writing as well as punctual readiness for travel in exceptional cases for customer operations on site complete your profile.
