Do you bring affinity to aerospace and are experienced in strategic business development and market positioning in an international environment? As a Business Development Director Airforce & Space (m/w/d) for our Digital Systems division, you combine political, military and technical trends with market-relevant opportunities and implement them in coordinated measures for sales and customer acquisition. Your duties include: Building and systematic maintenance of a resilient network with air weapons, aviation and space stakeholders at national, European and NATO level Detection and evaluation of market, skill and technology trends in aerospace Active identification and development of business opportunities in the domains Air Force and Space Coordination of cross-departmental programmes and consulting internal teams and executives Significant cooperation between consortia and partnerships, in particular in the context of multinational projects Representation of the company in professional bodies, associations, events and during customer visits Responsibility for the planning and implementation of strategically relevant events within the Digital Systems Division

Complete study of economic, aerospace and political sciences or comparable qualifications Extensive experience in business development or key account management in the defense or aviation/space environment Knowledge of aerospace structures and understanding of technological requirements in the aerospace sector Ideally experience with procurement processes of the Bundeswehr, EU and NATO programs Very good knowledge of English and German Designed analytical, strategic and conceptual competence as well as high communication and networkability readiness to travel national and international
