The CJD NRW Nord is one of the largest associations within the Christian Youth Village Plant in Germany with about 1,300 employees and a regional spread between East Westphalia and the Lower Rhine, from Münster to the Rhineland. The association has all the departments of the CJD in its portfolio and therefore offers a variety of professions the opportunity to engage in people and their opportunities.

As a social pedagogue in our AGH Café Chance Südstadt, you support people affected by long-term unemployment in developing professional and personal goals and perspectives and achieving them. They also support the management of the mostly multiple problems of people to be addressed. They are part of an experienced, multi-professional team and work closely on internal networks in and around Krefeld. The aim is always to ensure the success of the participants. Your New Task

• Advising participants with different multiple problems in the educational context
• Implementation of reference services in the individual context
• Planning and implementation of group offers and group events
• Acquiring participants for the measure of CJD e.V.
• Creating and updating an individual funding planning
• Transfer of social skills and life-structural skills
• Support for professional orientation and perspective development
• Documenting pedagogical work and participation in team meetings and in the multi-professional team

Your profile

• A completed study of social work or comparable qualification
• Educational expertise in dealing with people in difficult situations
• Structured and planned working in everyday teaching
• Ability to develop independent solutions and act responsibly
• Embossed communicative competence and respectful handling of different positions
• Interest in leisure activities and health promotions
• Ready to active network work with internal and external partners
• Remarkable is the membership of a Christian church belonging to the working community of Christian Churches (ACK) in Germany
